Leading Second exists to help church leaders thrive in the second chair. We believe the strength of the Church depends on leaders who serve with clarity, humility, and unity. Our mission is to develop leaders who lead with a spirit of ownership and advance the vision of their pastor from anywhere on the team.
Through coaching, events, and resources, we invest in the growth of church staff and volunteers who are all-in for their church. We equip teams to lead strong together and build churches that impact communities everywhere.

About Brandon
I’m all-in for the local church. After more than forty years rooted in the same church and years serving on the team at Champions Centre in Tacoma, Washington, I carry a deep love for God’s house and the leaders who build it. I spent years directing the Team Church Conference, with a mission to build teams that build the Church.
Today, my wife Lindsay and I lead Leading Second, a ministry devoted to helping church leaders thrive in the second chair. We travel widely to coach teams, partner with pastors, and create resources that strengthen church teams. My heartbeat is to champion leaders under authority and to come alongside them with clarity, conviction, and care.
